Cypress Reserve Community Development District
The Cypress Reserve Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes, as amended, and established on June 6, 2022 by the City Council of The City of Groveland, Lake County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-10 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Cypress Reserve CDD encompasses an area of approximately 486.36 acres, located south of Broad Street, north and east of Montevista Road, and west of County Road 561 within the City of Groveland, Florida. The Cypress Reserve CDD expects to plan establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities.

The Cypress Reserve Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on June 6, 2022 by the City Council of The City of Groveland, Lake County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-10. The District is limited to the performance of those general powers and functions as described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, and the special powers as set forth in s. 190.012(a) and (d), Florida Statutes. In the exercise of its powers, the District shall comply with all applicable governmental laws, rules, regulations and policies. The District shall not have any zoning or permitting powers governing land development of use of land.
